About the requirement · From the notice
The provision of care and support services that enable children and young people to remain safe, included and supported within their families and communities whilst achieving positive outcomes and greater independence. The Council is committed to ensuring that children and young people receive the right support, at the right time and in the right place. The Care and Support in the Home and Community will be established to provide flexible, personalised and outcome-focused support that enables children and young people to remain connected to their families, communities and support networks whilst achieving positive and sustainable outcomes. The Council recognises the increasing demand for community-based services that promote independence, wellbeing, inclusion, and family resilience. The contract will be designed to provide access to a diverse range of support options that respond to assessed need, build on individual strengths, and help prevent escalation to more intensive interventions wherever appropriate.[E5]
