About the requirement · From the notice
This is notice of a planned procurement opportunity to supply GPS tracking system for small boats for the home office. The buyer requires a tracking capability that enables the location of abandoned vessels to be monitored in near real time, allowing recovery activity to be coordinated efficiently and reducing the likelihood of duplicate responses to previously attended vessels. This notice is issued to enable potential bidders to prepare for, and express an interest in, this work. The buyer is seeking a replacement and enhancement of the existing tracking capability, which has been successfully utilised operationally for the last four years and now requires renewal with current generation technology. The full requirement will be provided at Tender stage, expected to be late November 2026. The tender opportunity will be issued via the Home Office e…[E6]
