Hämeenlinnan kaupunki (jatkossa myös hankintayksikkö / tilaaja) pyytää tarjoustanne uudesta kirjastoauton alustasta tarjouspyyntöasiakirjojen mukaisesti. Uuden kirjastoauton korityö on tarkoitus kilpailuttaa erillisellä tarjouspyynnöllä sitten kun kirjastoauton alustan toimittaja on valittu. Toisin sanoen hankinta on jaettu kahteen osaan, mutta kumpikin osa kilpailutetaan omalla tarjouspyynnöllään. Hankintasopimuksen kesto on arvio, joka pohjautuu alustavaan arvioon siitä, että kirjastoauton alusta tilattaisiin vuoden 2026 puolella ja alustan toimitusaika olisi noin neljä kuukautta. Varsinainen toimitusaika on kerrottu muualla tarjouspyyntöasiakirjoissa. Hankintasopimus on samalla tilaus ja tilausvahvistus. Tarvittaessa voi olla kuitenkin hankintasopimuksen lisäksi erillinen kirjallinen tilaus ja/tai erillinen kirjallinen tilausvahvistus, jotka ovat alisteisia hankintasopimukselle. Mahdollisesta huolto- ja korjaussopimuksesta on kerrottu muualla tarjouspyyntöasiakirjoissa. Jos valitun tarjoajan prosessi vaatii muita asiakirjoja, niin niistä neuvotellaan erikseen. Tilaaja pidättää oikeuden neuvotella kirjastoauton alustan yksityiskohdista valitun tarjoajan kanssa. Tällöin voidaan tarvittaessa myös neuvotella alustan kokonaishinnasta kuitenkin siten, että se voi muuttua korkeintaan kymmenen prosenttia alas- tai ylöspäin. Jos tilaaja ei käytä oikeuttaan, kirjastoauton alustan tulee olla tarkalleen vaaditun mukainen.[E12]
