Titre : Mélangeur Gros Format d'Encres The National Research Council of Canada (NRC), through its Clean Energy Innovation Research Centre (CEI) in Boucherville, Québec, is seeking information regarding commercially available large slurry mixers suitable for the preparation of viscous battery electrode slurries used in a battery prototyping line. The mixer will be used to prepare electrode slurries for advanced battery technologies, including lithium-ion and emerging battery chemistries. The equipment is intended to improve slurry preparation efficiency, process consistency, scalability, and operational flexibility while supporting research, development, and prototyping activities. The NRC requires a robust and versatile mixing platform capable of handling viscous slurries under controlled temperature and vacuum conditions while providing process monitoring and data logging capabilities. NRC is seeking information on equipment compatible with common battery slurry solvents, including water, N-Methylpyrrolidone (NMP), Gamma-Valerolactone (GVL), Dimethylformamide (DMF), and Dimethyl Sulfoxide (DMSO). Objectives: The primary objective of this Request for Information (RFI) is to identify and evaluate commercially available large slurry mixers suitable for the preparation of battery electrode slurries in a research and pilot-scale environment.
