About the requirement

Hankinnan kohteena on Helsingin yliopiston sekä Kiinteistö Oy Biomedicum Helsingin toimipisteiden vaarajätepalvelu. Helsingin yliopisto toimii Helsingissä neljällä kampuksella ja 9 muulla paikkakunnalla Suomessa. KOy Biomedicum Helsingin suurimmat osakkaat ovat Helsingin yliopisto, HUS ja Helsingin kaupunki. Yhtiö vastaa tutkimus- ja opetuskeskus Biomedicum Helsingin rakennusten (Haartmaninkatu 8 ja Tukholmankatu 8) kunnossapidosta ja kiinteistöhuollosta. Kilpailutus on jaettu kahteen osaan, Helsingin yliopiston toiminnasta syntyvät: 1) kemikaali- ja laboratorioiden muut vaaralliset jätteet sekä 2) biologinen ja kliininen jäte. Tarjoaja voi tarjota vain toista, tai molempia osia. Mikäli sama tarjoaja voittaa hoitaakseen molemmat osat, yhdistetään molemmat osat samalle sopimukselle. Suurin osa vaarallisista jätteistä syntyy Kumpulan, Meilahden ja Viikin kampuksilla. Yliopiston tiloissa ja Kiinteistö Oy Biomedicum Helsingin tiloissa toimivat vuokralaiset voivat hankkia vaarajätehuollon palveluja tulevan sopimuksen ehdoilla. Vuokralaiset tekevät omat sopimuksensa palveluntuottajan kanssa.[E6]
