Georgia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor - Georgia Accessibility and Transport Enhancement Project (TCTC - GATE) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contracts for Construction of Badiauri-Chalaubani (Lot 4) and Chalaubani - Bakurtsikhe (Lot 5) Road Sections of Tbilisi-Bakurtsikhe-Lagodekhi (Kakheti) Highway.
