Nabava računala više klase od tipične uredske opreme, odnosno sustavima koji moraju osigurati stabilne performanse, višezadaćnost, brzu obradu većih skupova podataka i grafičku te visoku procesorsku sposobnost primjerenu softveru za rad s prostornim podacima i analitičkim radnim opterećenjima. Posebno su naglašeni zahtjevi za snažnijim procesorima, povećanom količinom radne memorije, te pouzdanim i brzim sustavom za pohranu podataka, tipičnim za radne stanice i napredna poslovna računala namijenjena stručnim korisnicima.[E7]
