Le Syndicat intercommunal funéraire de la région parisienne (Sifurep) se propose de confier, conformément à l’article L. 2223-40 du Code général des collectivités territoriales (CGCT), par voie de concession portant délégation de service public, à compter de la notification du contrat de concession, les études nécessaires aux futurs travaux d’agrandissement et de rénovation réalisés au sein du crématorium de Champigny-sur-Marne et du jardin cinéraire contigu. Le futur délégataire assurera, à compter du 1er avril 2028, l’exploitation, à ses risques périls, du crématorium, de ses équipements et de ses annexes. Il lancera des travaux susvisés et se rémunèrera sur la commercialisation des services aux usagers.[E8]
