About the requirement

From the notice

Das neue Gebäude entsteht auf dem Campus der Universität des Saarlandes in Saarbrücken und wird durch das Helmholtz-Institut genutzt. Es handelt sich um einen Erweiterungsbau für den ersten Bauabschnitt des Helmholtz-Instituts für Pharmazeutische Forschung Saarland (HIPS) und ergänzt diesen funktional wie architektonisch. Der Erweiterungsbau ist östlich des Bestandsgebäudes geplant und mit dem Bestand durch zwei Brücken verbunden, die je den Büro- und Laborflur mit dem des Neubaus verbinden. Ergänzt wird der Erweiterungsbau durch östlich gelegene im Gelände eingebundene terassierte Parkflächen. Die Längsachsen des Gebäudes orientieren sich in ihrer Lage am Bestand. Das Laborachsraster wurde etwas weiter als im Bestand gewählt um letztlich eine flexiblere Geräteaufstellung zu erlauben. Dadurch entsteht für die Büros und Labore ein einheitliches, auf einem 1,2m Grundmaß basierendes Raster, das zur Vereinfachung der Konstruktion beiträgt. Der Neubau ist als viergeschossiges Gebäude mit einem zusätzlichen Staffelgeschoss und einer Gesamthöhe von ca. 22 m geplant. Das Baufeld liegt in Hanglage. Es ist im Erdgeschoss ebenerdig vom Garten aus zugänglich. Der Hauptzugang erfolgt im ersten Obergeschoss vom Straßenniveau aus. Das Gebäude besteht aus einem in den Hang gesetztes Erdgeschoss sowie 4 Obergeschossen, wobei das 4. OG als Staffelgeschoss ausgebildet ist. In diesem befindet sich hälftig die Technikzentrale sowie einem großen Sozialraum inkl. Dachterrasse. Außenabmessungen: ca. 66,00 x 33,00 m Die terrassierte Parkflächen bestehen im wesentlichen aus drei versetzten Parkebene…[E11]
