Die Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH ist ein weltweit tätiger Dienstleister der internationalen Zusammenarbeit für nachhaltige Entwicklung. Der Bereich DIGITS (Digitale Transformation und IT Solutions) unterstützt die Bereiche und Stabsstellen der GIZ dabei, ihre Abläufe und die zentralen organisationsübergreifenden Geschäftsprozesse durch moderne Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien wirksam und wirtschaftlich zu gestalten. Die GIZ nutzt Microsoft-365- und Microsoft-Azure-Clouddienste sowie hybride und lokale Microsoft-Komponenten als Bestandteil ihrer zentralen IT-Services. Zur Unterstützung der Verfügbarkeit, Stabilität und kontinuierlichen Betriebsbereitschaft dieser Systeme sollen Leistungen des Microsoft Unified Enterprise Support beschafft werden.[E7]
