Hankinnan kohteena on veroneuvonta- ja muiden taloushallinnon konsultointipalvelut Caruna-konsernille ja sen yhtiöille (Caruna Networks Oy, Caruna Oy ja Caruna Espoo Oy). Hankinnan taustalla on Tilaajan tarve hankkia verotuksen, kirjanpidon ja taloudellisen raportoinnin asiantuntijaosaamista erilaisiin tilanteisiin. Hankinnan tavoitteena on varmistaa korkeatasoisen asiantuntijatuen saatavuus kilpailukykyisin hinnoin ja joustavasti Tilaajan tarpeiden mukaan. Palveluilla tuetaan lakisääteisten velvoitteiden täyttämistä, taloudellista raportointia, riskienhallintaa sekä strategista päätöksentekoa, operatiivista toimintaa ja liiketoiminnan kehittämistä. Veroneuvonnan tarve liittyy erityisesti verotuksen oikeellisuuteen, tehokkuuteen ja ennakoitavuuteen sekä verotusta koskevien vaatimusten noudattamiseen. Muun taloushallinnon konsultoinnin tarve liittyy muun muassa Suomen kirjanpitolain ja kansainvälisten IFRS-standardien tulkintaan ja soveltamiseen.
