Etelä-Pohjanmaan hyvinvointialue valmistelee kotihoidon omalääkäripalvelun hankintaa osana ulkopuolisella hankerahoituksella toteutettavaa kehittämishanketta. Hankinnan tarkoituksena on hankkia kotihoidon omalääkärimallin pilotin toteuttamisessa tarvittavat lääkäripalvelut valituille pilottialueille. Pilotin tavoitteena on vahvistaa hoidon jatkuvuutta, parantaa lääkäripalveluiden saatavuutta sekä tukea kotihoidon ja lääkärin välistä moniammatillista yhteistyötä. Hankinnassa on tarkoitus hankkia kotihoidon omalääkäripalvelua pilotin tarpeisiin. Omalääkäripalvelun alustavana tavoitteena on muodostaa pilottialueille omalääkärimalli, jossa nimetyt lääkärit vastaavat kotihoidon asiakkaiden lääkäripalveluista yhteistyössä kotihoidon henkilöstön kanssa. Palvelun arvioidaan sisältävän sekä lähi- että etäpalveluna toteutettavaa lääkärityötä. Lähityö toteutetaan hyvinvointialueen määrittelemissä sosiaali- ja terveyskeskuksissa. Hankinnan alustavan arvion mukaan palvelua voidaan hankkia alustavasti enintään noin 3–4 henkilötyövuotta vastaava määrä. Lopullinen hankittavan palvelun laajuus, lääkärityöpanoksen määrä, palvelun toteutustapa sekä palvelua tuottavien lääkäreiden lukumäärä määräytyvät kuitenkin tarjouskilpailun tulosten, käytettävissä olevan hankerahoituksen sekä tilaajan tarpeen perusteella. Hankinnan tarkempi sisältö, palveluvaatimukset, palvelun laajuus, pilottialue, sopimusehdot ja muut hankintaa koskevat ehdot täsmennetään varsinaisessa tarjouspyynnössä.
