Newham Heritage Service is the custodian of historic archive and museum collections documenting the history, places, and people of the London Borough of Newham. The collection stretches from the 15th century to the present day and is comprised of over 2,000 linear metres of archive material and 8,000 museum objects. Newham Heritage Centre (NHM) will see the Grade II listed Canning Town Old Library (CTOL) brought back into community use as an inspiring and dynamic cultural space, exploring Newham's extraordinary heritage and stories.
