Swansea Council's Outdoor Attractions Team manages a range of popular visitor attractions across the city's parks, seafront and outdoor venues. The Swansea Land Train is one of these attractions and operates along the promenade between Blackpill Lido and Mumbles. The existing diesel-powered train has been in service since 2002 and is approaching the end of its operational life. The Council is therefore seeking a modern, fully electric replacement that supports its sustainability objectives and continues to provide a high-quality visitor experience.
